Protest against student housing shortage: 'chicken coop for 750 euros'

Approximately 15,000 people, including many students, took part in a protest against the student housing shortage last Sunday in Amsterdam.

About two hundred organisations supported the protest against the "colossal housing crisis", including BoKs, the organisation representing SSH tenants in Utrecht.

Pictured below is Ama Boahene, UU student and chair of national student union LSVb. Another protest is planned for October 17 in Rotterdam.
