The Utrecht Day of Philosophy challenges you to question yourself, others and the world in which you wander. Is Netflix slowly transforming us into passive nihilists? And does an objective truth truly exist? The 2021 edition is a surprise edition.

How does it work?
Together with a small group of people you will visit three programmes. The programme remains a surprise, but what you do know is that we’ve programmed masterful philosophers. You will leave the building a great deal wiser, that’s for sure.

Every tour is different, but we can already give away a sneak peek: you will not remain fixed to your chair. Botanical philosopher Norbert Peeters (Leiden University) has created a podcast on the philosophy of strolling and we’ve set up a tour along the most fascinating hidden treasures of the old city centre.
