Win tickets for the lecture 'How To Save Democracy' by Yascha Mounk

On 7 February, political scientist Yascha Mounk will come to TivoliVredenburg for the 9th Marchant lecture How To Save Democracy. DUB is giving away free tickets!

Read in Dutch

Increasingly more individual rights and the will of the majority, the two fundamental principles of our democracy, would be in conflict with each other. Where technocrats increasingly politicize political questions, populists such as Trump or Orbán want a democracy with no regard for minorities. This would ensure that our democracy is in danger.

During the 9th Marchant lecture How to save democracy Yascha Mounk addresses the question why these developments endanger our democracy and how we can save it. Co-referent is Tom van der Meer.
