INTEGRITY Thursdays is a programme of events with an aim to opening a dialogue on research integrity issues.

Starting November 5, a range of both online and in-person events will be held every Thursday throughout fall and winter. We welcome researchers from all disciplines, managers, students and people from the city of Utrecht and further afield to join us in this important discussion.

Academic awareness of the importance to more openly discuss research integrity issues is increasing. Researchers, educators, university boards, integrity committees & academic publishers all contribute to stimulate a positive research culture, the necessity of which is widely acknowledged.

This is an interactive and inspiring programme on integrity issues in academic communities brought to you in a joint venture from the Descartes Institute, the Ethics Institute and Freudenthal institute as part of the H2020 ERC intiative, in collaboration with Studium Generale and the Netherlands Research Integrity Network (NRIN).

Included are a wide variety of events from film screenings and discussions to interactive workshops and lectures, the chance to learn the techniques necessary for spotting photoshopped images, a practical team challenge to stimulate awareness on issues that can arise and more.
