As part of University College Utrecht's Lustrum celebrations and One Book, One Campus, Maxim Februari will be visiting UCU on Thursday night 13 September.
He will talk about his novel The Book Club (De literaire kring), an engaging novel about the power of the elite, about global trade and local responsibility, and about reading fiction. 30-year old Teresa Pellikaan gradually discovers a dark secret in her village when the local book club refuses to read the bestseller of her former classmate Ruth Ackermann.
One Book One Campus is organized as part of Utrecht Unesco City of Literature.
